やらなきゃいけないことは山ほどいっぱいあると分かってる。あとはやるだけ。ただ、腰が重い、、、忙しかったからとか眠かったからとか出来なかった言い訳をつい探してしまう。だが、そんなことをして自分を騙しても何にもならない。

自己矛盾と自己欺瞞、、こんな自分が嫌なんだ。

これを書いて、自分を追い詰めておこうと思う。せめて言い訳だけはしないように、、

Reason 1: It's Hisa's 21st birthday!!! My bestestestest buddy, Happy Birthday to you!~

Reason 2: I fainted while working . Head hit against the corner of a drawer and was brought to the hospital in an ambulance! It was quite cool I think, but the siren of the ambulance brought too much attention from people. I have a 2cm cut on the left of my forehead and bruises on my left cheek and lips. Still pretty. Having fever too. Not influenza! No worries! Hahahaha!!

I stayed over at my friend's place while I was in Tokyo last week. I saw a tiny spider. I have spider trauma! So I asked her to kill it but she goes "NOooOoO, spider is like a guardian angel(or GOD, I don't know) , you're not suppose to kill it! It brings you good luck!"

WTF! I've sent 2 GIGANTIC spiders to HELL already! I'm definitely sure that they're both in HELL cause they scared the HELL outta me!!!

I was on my way to work when I passed by a flea market. Something caught my eye. It was a white box. Inside it was.................................. a polaroid camera!!!

This obasan(aunty) who was selling said: (in Japanese) "It's BRAND NEW! REALLY! I don't know how to use it and I haven't even opened it before."

Oi aunty, who are you fooling?

Okay, actually I didn't care much about that. The camera looked new. The scratch-proof stickers were still sticking firmly on the camera. So I bought it. Ehehe....... After I paid for it, the aunty asked if I know how to use it. "..................................." Luckily it came with a guide book ... with 14 languages....

The following picture was taken 2 days before I went to Korea. I didn't have the slightest idea about going to Korea then.

On the 9th of March, my friend, Higu and I, as usual...... lazy to cook.... Joyfull restaurant. *sigh* And so we were talking about going on a trip to somewhere cheap and near. Higu and I had a lightblub moment and KOREA was it! When I jokingly said "tomorrow will do", without a doubt, she answered "OK"..... and that was how our trip was planned. We were hyperly excited.

By the way, Higu's Korean and she's from Gyeongju. In order to get to Gyeongju from Miyazaki, we had to take the train, then the bus, then the ferry, then taxi, then subway, then bus, then taxi *laughing weakly*. But I have to say that our journey to Korea and back from Korea were the most exciting parts of the 5-day trip.

So here is the story of our journey to KoRRRReA!

March 10

5:30 a.m - We left the dormitory to walk to the train station(30 mins walk for not-so-fit people). Higu forgot her passport. Runs back to dorm, comes back and it was already 5:40. Train leaves at 6:05. We had to drag our suitcases with run/walk.

6:00 a.m - We were at the train station LUCKILY!

6:30a.m - We missed the bus which we were supposed to take. Nevermind about that because there were plenty more busses which will take us to Fukuoka. Got the ticket for the 7:50 bus. Had our breakfast.

7:50a.m - Rode the bus. ZZZzzzzzz........

12:00p.m - Hakata, Fukuoka! Next will be to get our ferry ticket..... We didn't know our way to the port. HAHAHAHA!! Nevermind! Ask people. We still managed to get to the port in the end.

1:30p.m - At the port. We were at the ticket counter. Handed out our passports, waiting.... for our nightmares to come. The 1st nightmare was, Miss Higu did not apply for the Re-entry permit. Without that permit she will have to go through some very troublesome procedures in Korea which will ruin our trip while it takes about 30 mins to be done at the Fukuoka Airport. We were told to be back at the counter by 2.40p.m to catch the last ferry which will leave at 3:00p.m. And so..............

2:00p.m - At the airport. My 2nd time at the Fukuoka Airport.

2:10p.m - 2nd nightmare, My ATM cards.... in Miyazaki. I had only ￥16,000.

2:25p.m - Higu had her permit done and we rushed back to the port by taxi again. $$$$

2:40p.m - Got our ferry ticket. Checked in. Pheeeewww.............

Welcome... Fuk....u.....

3:00p.m - Board the ferry......

We made it!

6:00p.m - Traveling in the ferry made me sick. Starved. We had breakfast only and that was 11 hours ago.

6:30p.m - We were in Busan, Korea. Whoala! Eat......

7:10p.m - Walked out from the port of Busan to find bus. NO BUS! The last bus left at 6:30p.m. Took the taxi to the subway station.

This was written last year. It was saved as draft and was never been posted because I could not finish it. I'm not gonna continue with it though.

It was the 1st day of summer holiday when my friends and I went for whitewater river rafting in Kumamoto, 3 hours' drive from Miyazaki.

Then we went for a swim to check out our cool life jackets.

I fell asleep

After that, everyone was ordered to go up shore for some briefings about the the do's and don'ts .

huh... can't they just brief us while we're in water?

The briefing went on for about 10 minutes.

Wan: Faster laaaa... I'm not here for a lecture
Etou San: Ow... my specs'
Yang: It's time for a manicure
Me: Someone's gonna get hurt

Need to adjust specs to get a good view of that hot guy

Finally, the briefing ended. (No one was hurt) Everyone climbed into the boat and held an oar. We were ready to go.

You can tell that I was scared

Paddle, paddle, paddle, paddle... for like only 10 minutes and we came to a place where there's a tiny waterfall. We had to walk there.

It was really a big surprise to see my friends outside my apartment holding a cake with candles lighted up and wishing me a Happy Birthday at 12AM(I was in my pajamas). It reminded me of the time when Allen had his surprised birthday party except that friends were waiting outside the toilet for him.

I really appreciate what you guys have done for me. The cake was fabulous, the presents and cards were lovely, the card games were......... FUN and thanks for leaving the mess at my place too. Hahahaha =P

Something must be wrong with me! 4th post in a month?! No kidding! Hahahahaaa...

So what is it about this time huh?! See the title?

It was last night while I was having my shower. And guess what... I wasn't alone in the bathroom. A freakin' 10cm++++++++ loooooooooooooooooooooong centipede was inside too.

ewwwwwww.... it's......... a centipede.. ( a live one)

I have no idea how long it peeped me. But it really got on my nerves. I took a cane(supposed to be for dusting the futon) and whacked the heck out of it as its liquid and shit started splatting all over my bathroom.

The insects and worms here kinda have some super natural powers or something. They can just suddenly appear out of nowhere.

A spider has just invaded my room!!!!! And the fcuking problem is I don't know where it is! It can be in my kitchen or the bathroom or the toilet or my room or just resting on my shoulders. WHAT SHOULD I DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I was about to close the sliding door when it crawled in. How the heck did it even get through the nettings?!?! I freaked out. Seriously. I was SO scared that I peed myself grabbed my camera and snapped a picture of the intruder! Yes I know!! What else can be a wiser than taking picture of that freakin spider.

You can tell how scared I was, hands were shaking mad and that's the result of the blur picture. The next thing I thought was to smack it flat. So I got a heavy book, aimed at it and threw the book against the wall, hoping that it will be dead. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo!! I missed it!! It managed to slip awayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy......

It better not crawl on me while I sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or am I be able to sleep tonight. I'M SO DEAD!!!!

I swear that I will not eat sushi for the rest of my life.

The story goes like this. My friends and I planned to have sushi for lunch today. On our way to the shop, we made a bet. Whoever eats the most, the other 2 will pay for her. HAHA! And I thought to myself.. "No problem, sap sap sui laaa~!" I was very confident that I can do it.

Entered the shop. Took our seats. Ready, set, GO! Let's name my friend H and Y. So, H was leading all the way. She grabbed the plates of sushis like she hasn't had her meal for years. While Y and I were slow and steady(haha).

H:" Haha, you slow moes, I'm having my 5th plate."

Er... name of this sushi? *shrugs*

When I had my 1st plate of sushi, I thought "NGahHAhAHAh!! It tastes so good. I can have 100 plates of these!" And the number of plates went on... 2nd (^o^) .... 3rd (^o^) ... 4th (^o^)... 5th (^_^)... 6th (^_^;)... 7th (^_^;;;)... 8th (~_~)... 9th (~_~;;;)...

By that time, H was having her 11th plate of sushi. But from her expression, I can tell that she was already full. So I continued to try to catch up.

Stomach was about to burst

Waitress:" Crazy customers.. (=_=;)"

H stopped at plate number 13th and kept on complaining how full she was. Haha.. so 1 down and 1 more to compete with. Y was still looking fine. *fast forward* At the end, the result was H:13 Y:13 and I:14!!!!!!!! WEeeEEee!!! I won.....

However, they did not keep their promise. (T_T;;) I had to pay myself. When the bill came... ...

So, please don't ever invite me for sushi.

Home Visit

I had a home visit program yesterday in Shinagawa. It takes about 30 minutes from my place by train.

My host family- the Kasahara.

Met them at their place at 10am. Kuniko then brought us(there are two other students who had the same host family as me) for a tour around Tokyo.

1st destination: The Tokyo Tower

Uh huh.. that's the Tokyo Tower

Slim and long steel towers don't interest me at all.

They just look the same

But surprisingly these towers are the tourist spots. We lined up for about 20 minutes for the entrance ticket.

While waiting for our turn, this pink doll caught my attention... It, I mean he was posing with kids for photographs. He came and pose in front of me and i managed to get a good snapshot. Now i present you the picture.

Homestay

I went for a 2 days 1 night homestay in Ibaraki, Mito on the 3rd of August. Woke up at 6.30am to do my last minute packing. I reached Tokyo station at 8 and was kind of lost because the place was really huge. I had to ask for directions in order to get the bus ticket. It wasn't too bad since Japanese are really helpful. Too bad, no pictures were taken at the Tokyo station.

I arrived in Mito station at 11.40. It was a 2 hours bus ride. My host, Nagaya San picked me up and we went for lunch---SUSHI!! Oh before we get to the Sushi part, I would like to talk about Nagaya San. How I got to know him? Skype. Yes, he's one of my net friends. You guys must be thinking that I'm crazy to meet someone I don't even know in real life. ............

Nagaya San is an Olympic photographer since 1988. How cool is that! He sent me a site where his work was published. After browsing through the pictures, I must say that he's a real professional photographer! OMG, his pictures are SOooOo impressive!!

Okay, back to sushi. Did you know that sushi is a snack for the Japanese. I didn't know that until Nagaya San told me. The shop which sells sushi is called the 'sushi ya'. Somehow sushi ya in Japan is different from the ones in Malaysia (HAHA!! Sushi KING, Genki Sushi xD). Instead of ordering from the waiters and waitresses you order direct from the chef. And I was taught on how to eat the sushi in a traditional way which is by hand. Sorry, no pictures of sushi too. >_<

After the satisfying meal, we went to the supermarket to grab some vege and meat because there will be a barbeque party in the evening at Nagaya san's place. When I reached his house, I was welcomed by his wife, Sayuri. She's a friendly and lovely lady. There are 3 cats in the house too. The cats are fat and adorable!! I thought I never like cats until I saw these 3 cats! Aww... how they purrr...

Okay, and then I was brought to the living room. Nagaya San turned on the DVD for me. So yeah, that was how i spent my afternoon that day, watching the tv. Oh, his house... many badges of the Olympic games, pictures hanging on the wall, very nicely decorated. I love houses with pictures. It had a nice, homey atmosphere.

(Fast forward) Evening! Nagaya San started the fire for the barbeque at the balcony while I just sat there watching him doing. Yaya, I was kind of useless but hey I did ask if they needed any help. Sayuri did realise that I was feeling bored, sitting there patting the cats and have nothing to do. So she gave me this easy task which is to wipe the tables. Hehe..

Visitors started coming at around 7pm. They were on time to see the fireworks. It was the fireworks festival on that day. I was very lucky to have the chance to see it too. Fireworks festival are held only on summer. Japanese will wear the yukata on that day. We could get a spectacular view of the fireworks from Nagaya San's balcony.
